Through an open call for students and art graduates with a specific interest in emancipation struggles, resistance and art in a non-western context, EM offered 8 residencies at the Frans Masereel Center to elaborate their printing practice individually and collectively. The aim was to organize an inclusive print project towards more diverse and expanded narratives related to the visual legacy of different movements on emancipation and resistance.
